[June 6, 2026, New Orleans, USA] The 86th Annual Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) is held in New Orleans. SiranBio was invited to give an oral presentation to global experts and researchers specializing in diabetes and metabolic disorders. Pre-clinical results of SA030, SiranBio’s proprietary siRNA drug for ALK7, was released to the public for the first time. With the potential to be first-in-siRNA and best-in-class therapeutics for this emerging target for adipose metabolism, and the recent deal with GSK for over $1 billion, our presentation draws a lot of attention in the symposium.marking a major leap forward for Siranbio in the research and development of novel therapeutics for metabolic diseases.

Pre-clinical Results of SA030: Fat Reduction with Lean Mass Preservation
The title of our presentation is, “Adipose-targeted ALK7 siRNA Reduces Fat Mass While Preserving Lean Mass In Diet-induced Obese Mice and NHP”. SA030 is one of the world’s earliest siRNA drug in clinical trial that targets ALK7 in adipose tissue. ALK7 (Activin Receptor-Like Kinase 7) is a type I receptor of the TGF-β superfamily, which is abundantly expressed in both white and brown adipose tissues and acts as a pivotal regulator of energy metabolism and adipose tissue physiology. SA030 was developed using SiranBio’s proprietary STORK-F delivery platform. It selectively degrades ALK7 mRNA and inhibits its protein expression in adipose tissue. Consequently, it facilitates lipolysis while maintaining lean body mass. Meanwhile, the candidate improves insulin sensitivity, optimizes blood lipid profiles, and mitigates adipocyte-mediated inflammation.
Four Years of Dedication Achieves Global Milestones; SA030 Advances Rapidly Toward Global Clinical Translation
The pre-clinical results presented at ADA established the scientific value underpinning the strategic partnership between GSK and Siranbio. Currently, the Phase I clinical trial of SA030 is actively ongoing. In collaboration with its global partner, Siranbio is accelerating clinical validation in human subjects, aiming to deliver a novel therapeutic modality for patients suffering from metabolic diseases.
Founded in 2022, this China-based biotech company was invited multiple times to give an oral presentations at most prestigious international conferences and established strategic collaborations with several domestic and overseas biotech and pharmaceutical companies, including the most recent collaboration with GSK for over $1 billion. SiranBio is proud to become a globally leading innovator in siRNA drug discoveries in 4 years since its inception.
